Three rows of chips pack 960 LEDs into every metre and put out up to 2625 lumens per metre, more than double a standard 10w strip. The COB construction gives a continuous light source, so it looks clean even in shallow profiles or where the strip itself can be seen.

It is built for jobs where the strip is the main light source rather than an accent: cove and bulkhead lighting, high ceilings, long joinery runs, retail displays and indirect lighting that has to light a whole room. CRI 90 colour rendering keeps timber, stone, food and skin tones looking natural.

Key features

25w per metre, up to 2625 lumens per metre (105 lumens per watt)

960 LEDs per metre in three rows for a smooth, dot free line

CRI 90 for accurate, natural colour

Wide 140° beam angle

15mm wide flexible PCB, 1.5mm thick

Cut points every 50mm

24v DC, maximum 5 metre run from a single feed

3M adhesive backing, or fix with mounting clips or an aluminium profile

Supplied with 150mm 20AWG lead wires at one end

5 year warranty

Colour temperature and output

Colour temperature

Output per metre

Best for

3000k Warm White

2500 lumens

Living areas, bedrooms, hospitality

4000k Cool White

2625 lumens

Kitchens, laundries, workspaces, retail

Choosing a driver

Allow 25w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 125w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 150w. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. The 20 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.

Mounting and heat

At 25w per metre this strip produces real heat, so we recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the chips, protects the strip and extends its life. Choose a profile at least 16mm wide inside to suit the 15mm strip, and add a diffuser for the softest line of light. The minimum bend radius is 30mm.

IP20 rated for dry indoor locations only.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0707/3595/4146/files/25w-COB-LED-Strip-PL-COB-25-3000k-960-IP20-20-5.jpg?v=1791757739
