I had a few old downlights with a 100mm cutout hole in the ceiling instead of the usual 90-92mm. This was a perfect replacement. These downlights come with an external driver and power plug. The 110mm trim helped cover up imperfections in the 100mm cutout. The recessed light design and the matte silver baffle combine to greatly reduce glare.

I got the 4000K version as it's a nice balance between being too yellow and too cold. By my amateur measurement, these sit pretty much right on 4000K (and 92-93 CRI), as opposed to some other 4000K Trend models which I've found are a little cooler from 4100-4200K.

These downlights came with an instruction leaflet in the box, unlike some other Trend models I've purchased where they didn't bother. The specs say these can fit in 95-100mm cutouts, but in my experience I would not want to fit these in less than 100mm. It would be very tight and the cutout may get damaged during installation.

The only negative aspect is the rubber orange caps on the spring clips. They are only slipped over the end of the metal clip (not glued or properly attached), so they often slip off when trying to pull the spring back for ceiling installation. Unfortunately Trend use these for a number of models.

If you're not careful, you may end up with gouges in the ceiling cutout due to the cap slipping off and the spring snapping back. It's a sloppy design especially for the price, but a minimal issue.
