COB LED strip, 10w per metre with CRI 90
This Pixel COB strip packs 480 chips into every metre for a perfectly smooth, dot free line of light. With no visible hotspots it suits shallow aluminium profiles, joinery, shelving and indirect details where the light source needs to disappear.
At 10w per metre it puts out around 1000 lumens per metre, enough for under cabinet task lighting and shelf lighting without being harsh. CRI 90 colour rendering keeps benchtops, food and finishes looking natural.

Choosing a driver
Allow 10w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 50w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 60w. Fed from both ends, a 10 metre run draws 100w and needs a driver of at least 120w, so use a 150w driver. For anything longer, split the strip into separate runs and feed each one. The 50 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
We recommend mounting this strip in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the chips, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip. The 3M backing works on clean, dry, smooth surfaces for short runs.
