Micro LED strip, 4mm wide, 14.4w per metre, IP20
At just 4mm wide and 2mm high, this micro LED strip fits places a standard strip cannot: shadow lines, thin joinery grooves, shelf edges, glass display cabinets and miniature profiles. Despite its size it puts out 1135 to 1200 lumens per metre from 240 chips per metre.
It is dimmable and works with a range of control systems, so it slots into anything from a simple home install to a fully controlled fitout. CRI above 90 keeps colours true, and cut points every 25mm let you fit it accurately to short or awkward lengths.

Choosing a driver
Allow 14.4w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run, the maximum length, draws 72w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 86.4w, which in practice means a 100w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed. To dim it, choose a dimmable 24v driver that matches your control system (0/1 to 10V, DALI, DMX, RF or WiFi) and a compatible dimmer or controller.
Mounting and heat
A narrow strip carrying 14.4w per metre needs somewhere to shed its heat, so we recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 5mm wide inside to suit the 4mm strip. The 3M double sided tape on the back makes fixing straightforward.
