Disappointed in this fan

This fan looks great which is the only good thing about it. It states "silent" however it is VERY noisy, definitely not worth the very high price for it. I bought the biggest fan for a very small bathroom and while it does remove steam there is often still a lot left on my mirror for quite a while after we finish showering and moisture also drips down the wall from the bottom of the fan. Very disappointed overall.

Airflow v Pressure Graph; model numbers

The Lighting Outlet listing title mentions 300 mm. This is a misprint. The fan connects to a 150 mm duct.

The Lighting Outlet listing does not include a graph of airflow vs pressure. A photo of it from the mfr is included in this review.

The spec sheet on the Lighting Outlet listing refers to various models but omits the first column which contains the model numbers. Per the mfr (Fantech):

"CZ" models include backdraft damper

"CRZ" models include backdraft damper and 1-30 min timer

"CHZ" models include backdraft damper, 1-30 min timer, and adjustable humidistat.

For the 300 m3/h models, the model numbers are SILDES300CZ3C, SILDES300CRZ3C and SILDES300CHZ3C. Each are followed by -W or -S (for white or silver color).

Silent Design

We bought two different wall mounted fans to test which was less noisy before buying fans for all bathrooms. We needed wall

Mounted cause of the way the house/ceiling is designed.

Silent Design model is expensive and far from silent but definitely less noisy than other brands out there. The fascia has a nice curved shapes and bright details. The brand logo is embossed on the front and cannot be removed and the unit is entirely made of plastic.
