Dotless COB LED strip, 4.8w per metre, 5500k daylight, IP54
Bright, crisp 5500k daylight in a dot free COB strip rated IP54, so it stands up to splashes and damp conditions. It gives a uniform line of light with no hotspots along its length.
It is well suited to task lighting in laundries, bathrooms, garages and workshops, as well as cabinetry and indirect lighting in sheltered outdoor spots. CRI above 90 keeps colours accurate. Available per metre or as a 10 metre roll.

Choosing a driver
Allow 4.8w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 24w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 29w, which in practice means a 30w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed. The 10 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. In damp or exposed spots, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
Mount this strip in an aluminium profile: the warranty requires an aluminium heat dissipating surface, and the profile also protects the strip and helps it last. A profile at least 9mm wide inside suits the 8mm strip. A diffuser is optional, as the COB line has no visible dots, but it adds a softer finish where the strip is in view.
IP54 rated, which makes it suitable for damp or sheltered locations rather than fully exposed outdoor positions.
