High end quality product at great price.

After spending many day researching led downlights to replace my halogen ones I can across the AT 9029. It ticked all the boxes. COB, IC4, high CRI, recessed, metal construction, 60 deg angle, dimmable, good warranty. Another bonus was the wider flange to cover and wonky cutouts in the plaster.

My electrician was impressed with this product and took photos to show future clients.

The installed appearance is exactly what I was looking for. They have the spotlight effect of the old halogens. Great for a moody effect.

I highly recommend this product.

Good quality

These are a very good quality downlight that gives off a good light, but has a substantial recess to avoid glare. Note that they have a 300mA forward current which means it might be hard to match with a different LED driver (e.g., DALI controlled). I purchased the AT9029/WH/CW variant.

Disappointed

This LED looks great on the spec sheet and it gives off a lovely light. However, the images and description fail to mention that it has a standalone driver that isn't IC-4 compliant - meaning that it needs to be placed on top of the ceiling insulation. For people like me who are unable to access their roof space, this LED is unfit for purpose.
