Waterproof CSP LED strip, 9.6w per metre, IP67
When a strip has to live outside or in a genuinely wet spot, this fully sealed IP67 CSP tape is the one to choose. It brings a bright, even line of light to decks, steps, garden walls, pool surrounds and showers, with 480 chip scale LEDs per metre for a smooth result.
Output reaches up to 742 lumens per metre, enough to light pathways and outdoor benches properly rather than just mark them, and CRI above 90 keeps plants, stone and timber looking natural at night.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w and needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, so a 60w driver in practice. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each one. Outdoors or in damp areas, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover.
Mounting and heat
An aluminium profile protects the strip, draws heat away from the LEDs and extends its life, and a diffuser softens the line. Choose a profile at least 13mm wide inside to suit the 12mm strip. Reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and make outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
IP67 rated for outdoor use.
