This 12v strip gives 1320 lumens per metre of natural daylight white from 60 LEDs per metre, while running with low heat. It is an efficient, no fuss option for bright, clear light.
It suits kitchens, garages, laundries, stairwells and high ceiling voids. The 3M double sided tape makes fixing straightforward, and it cuts every 50mm for neat lengths.

Choosing a driver
Allow 14.4w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 72w, so it needs a 12v driver of at least 87w, which in practice means a 100w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. To dim the strip, add a compatible LED controller rated for the full load of the run.
Mounting and heat
This strip must be mounted on an aluminium heat sink or aluminium profile for warranty purposes. The profile draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life. Choose a profile at least 11mm wide inside to suit the 10mm strip, and add a diffuser for the softest line of light.
