A low wattage 12v strip on a 50 metre roll, giving gentle, energy saving light across many runs. With 60 LEDs per metre and 4.8w per metre, it is well suited to soft accent and background lighting.
Choose warm, cool or daylight white for shelving, cabinetry, coves and signage backlighting in larger projects. The slim 8mm strip has 3M tape on the back for easy installation.

Choosing a driver
Allow 4.8w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 24w, so it needs a 12v driver of at least 29w, which in practice means a 30w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. The 50 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting.
Mounting and heat
We recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.
