12v LED strip, 4.8w per metre, 3000k warm white

Warm 3000k light from 60 LEDs per metre on a slim 8mm tape, made for adding a soft glow to everyday spaces without much power or fuss. The double sided tape backing makes it quick to fix.

Use it under kitchen cabinets, along bedroom and living room shelving, inside wardrobes and behind bedheads. It runs on 12v DC and is cut to the length you order.

Choosing a driver

Allow 4.8w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 24w, so it needs a 12v driver of at least 29w, which in practice means a 30w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each one separately. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 12v driver and a compatible dimmer.

Mounting and heat

We recommend mounting this strip in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.

The perfect strip lights for camping.
