A full 50 metre roll of 12v strip with 120 LEDs per metre, for bright, even light across big jobs. It puts out up to 860 lumens per metre, so it works as task lighting as well as accent lighting.
It is a sensible pick for multi room fitouts, shop shelving and joinery runs where a lot of strip is needed. Fine 25mm cut points help match lengths closely, and 3M tape makes fixing quick.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w, so it needs a 12v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. The 50 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting.
Mounting and heat
We recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.
