A weatherproof 12v strip with 60 LEDs per metre, giving 1320 lumens per metre of bright daylight white. It is a straightforward, practical option for lighting outdoor and wet areas on a 12v system.

Choosing a driver
Allow 14.4w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 72w, so it needs a 12v driver of at least 87w, which in practice means a 100w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. Outdoors or in wet areas, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 12v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
We recommend mounting this strip in an aluminium profile, which draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life. The 3M double sided tape holds it in place. Every cut end must be resealed with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and any outdoor joins should be made in a waterproof connector or junction box.
