Side mounted coloured LED strip, red, green or blue, 7.7w per metre
A single colour side mounted strip in your choice of red, green or blue. The LEDs face out from the edge of the 6mm tape, so it can wash colour sideways from shelf fronts, cabinetry and narrow slots where a top facing strip would not work.
Use it for feature colour in bars and games rooms, shelf and display accents, signage glow and decorative details. Each colour is sold per metre or as a 20 metre roll. Because it is one fixed colour, it runs from a standard 12v driver with no colour controller needed.

Choosing a driver
Allow 7.7w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A 5 metre run draws 38.5w, so it needs a 12v driver of at least 47w, which in practice means a 60w driver. No maximum run length is published for this strip, so split longer installs into separate runs, each with its own feed. The 20 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 12v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
Fix the strip with its LED edge facing the direction you want the colour to fall. We recommend an aluminium profile or aluminium mounting surface to draw heat away, protect the strip and extend its life. For a profile where the strip lies flat, allow at least 7mm inside for the 6mm strip.
