Luma High CRI Ultra Slim LED Oyster Light

The Luma is one of the few oyster lights available with a 90+ CRI, so colours in the room look the way they do in daylight: skin tones, timber, paint and fabrics all read true. At just 26mm deep with a slim aluminium trim, it sits almost flush to the ceiling and spreads soft, even light across the whole room.

Four sizes cover everything from a hallway to an open plan living area, and every size has the same tri colour switch, dimming and IP54 rating. Pick your size from the room guide below.

Which size for which room?

Each size is a step up in both diameter and brightness. As a guide, one Luma lights the room sizes below to a comfortable everyday level.

Size	Brightness	Room size guide	Best for
16w (210mm)	1400 to 1500lm	Up to about 8 m²	Hallways, entries, toilets, walk in robes, laundries, small bathrooms and ensuites
20w (297mm)	2000 to 2200lm	Up to about 12 m²	Bedrooms, kids rooms, bathrooms, studies and home offices
32w (403mm)	2600 to 2800lm	Up to about 16 m²	Main bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, rumpus rooms and garages
50w (503mm)	4600 to 4800lm	Up to about 25 m²	Living rooms, open plan living and dining, large kitchens, double garages and workshops

Kitchens, bathrooms and home offices need brighter light for tasks, so go up a size in those rooms. Go up a size for dark walls or ceilings above 2.7m too. For a bigger or long room, two smaller Lumas spread light more evenly than one large one. If you are between sizes, go brighter and pair it with our Pixel Fade rotary dimmer or Flow push button dimmer, then dim down to the perfect brightness. Not sure? Use our lumens calculator to work out what your room needs.

Stylish slimline LED
Being in a strata complex with solar panels, we wanted something that resembled a sky tube which would be inexpensive and easy to install. These 30cm oysters do not disappoint! Definitely get a dimmer switch if you have 2 large lights in the same room as they can be bright. We also have 2 of the smaller 20cm oysters in our laundry and water closet. They brighten up the space perfectly.
