We live rural so it's pitch black at night - making finding our drive difficult. Putting these on either side of our drive is a transformation. I initially put one on top of the postbox but they shine slightly upwards so are better mounted at ground level.

The official plastic mounting posts are horrifically expensive and only come from Australia but making wooden ones was not difficult.
