Description:
Specifications:
This globe runs on 12v DC, so it needs a 12v LED driver (sometimes called a transformer). It cannot connect straight to 240v mains. The driver is wired in by a licensed electrician.
Allow 1.5w for each globe and add about 20% headroom. 10 globes draw 15w, so they need a 12v driver of at least 18w, which in practice means a 30w driver.
For bigger installs, split the lights across two or more drivers and place each driver close to its group. Long cable runs at low voltage lose brightness at the far end, so check your cable size with our voltage drop calculator.
Indoors, an indoor 12v driver mounted in the ceiling space works well. If the light is going outdoors or under eaves, use a weatherproof IP66 12v driver.
Replaced the faulting globes in my path lights with these globes, great light output and perfect warm colour temp.
Easy to deal with and good price and product was good but took a long time to get delivered
