The Nova LED Garden Spike Light is a high-performance outdoor spotlight built from durable 316 stainless steel and aluminium, designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. With colour-changing RGB lighting plus warm and cool white output, it brings both versatility and style to landscape and garden illumination. Its adjustable head, reinforced cable, and IP65 rating make it ideal for pathways, foliage highlighting, and garden features.
Choosing a driver
This spike light runs on 12v DC, so it needs a 12v LED driver (sometimes called a transformer). It cannot connect straight to 240v mains. The driver is wired in by a licensed electrician.
Allow 7w for each spike light and add about 20% headroom. 7 spike lights draw 49w, so they need a 12v driver of at least 59w, which in practice means a 60w driver.

For bigger installs, split the lights across two or more drivers and place each driver close to its group. Long cable runs at low voltage lose brightness at the far end, so check your cable size with the voltage drop calculator below.
Outdoors, use a weatherproof IP66 12v driver and mount it above ground, clear of garden beds and pooling water.
To dim, pair it with a dimmable 12v driver and a compatible dimmer.
