Mounting:

The installation of HEATSTRIP® Classic is simple and easy with the standard mounting brackets supplied. For other locations, there are a range of mounting options available – (refer to below diagrams). The HEATSTRIP® Classic can be mounted directly to the ceiling; angled downwards on a wall; fitted flush with the ceiling; suspended on chains or poles; attached to beams/poles/umbrella’s; mounted end-to-end, or 2 units together.

  • Minimum mounting height (including flush mount) 2.1m†
  • Ideal mounting height (including flush mount) 2.2m – 2.5m / 2.1 -2.2m†
  • Maximum mounting height (including flush mount) 2.7m / 2.3m†

The mounting height of the electric heater can have a significant impact on performance. For mounting heights higher than the ideal range, we recommend the use of wires/chains or optional extension poles to reduce the height and ensure the heater is within the ideal range. Heater performance may be affected if outside this range.

Order controller too!

product is fine would have been good to be told the controller is sold separately as it's useless without this.

Great item but misled when buying

Two 2400W heaters purchased following an online chat confirmed they come with remote controls supplied, unfortunately this was not true and subsequently cost an extra $400 for two remote controls required. Very upsetting as this should have been made clear in the information and I feel totally misled into buying them after the online staff member told me they would be included - I would not have spent this amount on the heaters if I had known. No adequate resolution was offered by the lighting outlet and it has taken many weeks of emails back and forth to even get a definite answer at which time I was simply told they could provide me a quote for buying them.

I give 5 stars for the quality of the heaters and their effectiveness but 1 star for inadequate customer service and suggest online staff should be better aware of the products they are selling if they are to be answering questions about them.
