The Bata Plain LED Brick Light is a recessed lighting solution designed to deliver clean, understated illumination for walls, pathways, and step areas. Its plain face design creates a modern, minimal look that blends seamlessly into brickwork and masonry. Built with durable materials and a frosted tempered glass front, it provides soft, even light while reducing glare. Available in black, white, or marine-grade stainless steel, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Choosing a driver

The 12v DC version runs on low voltage and needs a 12v LED driver, installed by a licensed electrician. The 240v version wires straight to mains and does not need a driver.

Allow 6w for each light and add about 20% headroom. 8 lights draw 48w, so they need a 12v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver.

For bigger installs, split the lights across two or more drivers and place each driver close to its group. Long cable runs at low voltage lose brightness at the far end, so check your cable size with our voltage drop calculator.

Indoors, an indoor 12v driver mounted in the ceiling space works well. If the light is going outdoors or under eaves, use a weatherproof IP66 12v driver.

Great customer service
My experience with the purchase from The Lighting outlet has been great. These lights weren’t in stock however after contacting customer service via email I was told these could be bought in by the supplier. The whole process of ordering and receiving the lights was a smooth transaction and these arrived in Melbourne very quickly. Very happy with the customer service I received - prompt replies and all my questions were answered.
